Lyric Choir (Grades 7-12)

Drue M. Bullington, director/Jacqueline Owsinski, accompanist

Lyric Choir is for singers in grades 7-10.  The Lyric Choir is comprised of singers who audition directly into the ensemble with more advanced musical abilities, along with singers who have been promoted from the Prelude Choir. Lyric Choir singers have rehearsal once a week on Monday evenings. Singers continue to build their music skills and work on more advanced vocal techniques, singing in unison, 2 part music and 3 part music, and music literacy skills.   Lyric Choir singers perform in CCL’s annual Holiday Concert and Spring Concert as well as may be invited to sing at other community events and as other opportunities present themselves.

Tuition for Prelude Choir is $225 per singer with a 10% discount for additional singers that are siblings and reside in the same household.**

It is the responsibility of the singer’s family to acquire the concert uniform, specified by each group, and is not included in the tuition cost.

**Tuition covers instruction once per week according to the Rehearsal/Performance schedule from September-May.  Students who join in January pay the full tuition price.  There is a decreased tuition rate for subsequent singers from the same family. Scholarships are available.  Please inquire with the Artistic Director about scholarships.
