Prelude Choir (Grades 3-6)

Lisa M. Sempsey, director/Amy Wissing, accompanist

Prelude Choir is for singers in grades 3-6.  The Prelude Choir is CCL’s introductory choir for singers who audition into the program with little or no prior choral experience.  Prelude Choir singers rehearse once per week on Monday evenings.  Singers build their music skills in an energetic and interactive way and work on healthy vocal techniques, singing in unison and 2 parts, music literacy skills.   Prelude Choir singers perform at least twice each concert season at our annual Holiday Concert and Spring Concert.

Tuition for Prelude Choir is $225 per singer with a 10% discount for additional singers that are siblings and reside in the same household.**
It is the responsibility of the singer’s family to acquire the concert uniform, specified by each group, and is not included in the tuition cost.

**Tuition covers instruction once per week according to the Rehearsal/Performance schedule from September-May.  Students who join in January pay the full tuition price.  There is a decreased tuition rate for subsequent singers from the same family. Scholarships are available.  Please inquire with the Artistic Director about scholarships.
